Heartwarming tales of friendship
Frog and Toad's delightful stage adaptation
Frog and Toad's delightful stage adaptation
Based on the beloved book series by Arnold Lobel, A Year With Frog and Toad is a wonderful family show, running at the Marriott Theatre this summer. Directed by Elizabeth Romero, the production features a delightful musical score written by Robert and Willie Reale. Having originally been produced by the author's daughter Adrienne Lobel, the stage adaptation of the classic tales ran on Broadway for several months in 2003, featuring Adrienne's husband playing the part of Toad in the premiere. Come and see why it's such a lovely, enduring classic.
A Year With Frog And Toad follows the adventures of two amphibious friends through the changing seasons, as they enjoy a fun-filled year in the woodlands and learn some valuable life lessons along the way. From Spring through Summer and onto the Winter, the pair discover the importance of friendship, patience and kindness, through a host of amusing encounters and memorable scenes.
